Who we are
EFAS (Education Access Foundation) is a Section 8 nonprofit company registered in Ahmedabad, India. We run education programs inside schools. This policy explains what information we collect when you use efas.in, donate, or contact us, and how we use it.
What information we collect
When you donate or join the EFAS community, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number (required to process your donation)
- Payment information — handled entirely by Razorpay, we never see or store your card or bank details
- Whether you requested an 80G tax receipt
When you contact us via the website form, we collect your name, email, your role (e.g. school principal, donor), and your message.
We do not collect information about children in our programs through this website.
How we use your information
We use your information only to:
- Process your donation and send a payment receipt
- Send you an 80G tax receipt when your request is processed (if you opted in)
- Email you occasional updates about EFAS impact, no more than once a month
- Respond to your contact form message
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except Razorpay (our payment processor) and Google Firebase (our hosting and database provider), both of which have their own privacy policies.
Data storage and security
Your information is stored securely on Google Firebase, which is hosted in secure Google data centres. Payment transactions are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We do not store any card or banking information.
Your rights
You can request that we delete your personal information at any time by emailing ceo@efas.in. We will respond within 7 days.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies for Firebase Authentication (for staff login only) and Razorpay payment processing. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
